Totally rimless frames offer a sharp look but can loosen over time, especially reading glasses which tend to be placed on and off the face with frequently. Fully rimmed plastic and metal frames are more forgiving; but for those who love the clean look of rimless designs, it will help to know the following:

  • Repeated stretching of the frame loosens the frame. Always use both hands when placing or removing your glasses from your face. Especially avoid parking your glasses on the top of your head. Use the hard case that comes with your glasses when not in use.
  • If ever necessary, send us your glasses for complimentary tightening and six-point adjustment. Or, visit any of our retail locations for complimentary comfort adjustments and minor repairs. This service is offered to anyone regardless of where you purchased your glasses. Most optical stores also offer the same complimentary services.

NOTE: 3pc adjustment is not a recommended do it yourself job. However, with the proper tools it normally takes just a few minutes to snug up fittings and have you on your way. Avoid adhesives, because the chemicals in glue can cause fractures in lenses.
